AGM Notice

The AGM will be held at Oakleigh Barracks on Friday 6 Nov 2009, the facilities will be made available to Association Members after 1800h.
Laurie Taig - Laurie is about to undertake 18 week's of Chemo treatment, we wish him a good and speedy recovery.
	Laurie has taken the steps to stand down as President and pass on the job to John Davidson, Vice President, until the AGM and the election.
Laurie will not seek re-election at this point.

	Committee nominations are to be with the Secretary by CoB Monday 19 Oct 2009

	The following NM is for the setup and operation of the Golf Club.

Notice of Motion

That at the next AGM the following amendments to the Constitution are to be put to the Association Members.
The changes to the Constitution will apply from the conclusion of that AGM, if passed
NM1
3 Military District RAASC/RACT Association Golf Club 
21.01	3 Military District RAASC/RACT Association Golf Club be known as the "Golf Club"
21.02	The Golf Club has been authorised to operate under this name. Golf Club is required to develop, maintain and operate under its own Constitution.
21.03	Golf Club is required to have minimum of one Serving, Discharged or Retired Military member.
21.04	Golf Club is to provide report to this Association Executive at Committee Meetings held quarterly and the AGM. 
21.05	In the event that the Association be dissolved, that the name "3 Military District RAASC/RACT Association Golf Club" can maintain operating under this name.

LOOKING FOR A MEMBER

My name is George Alan Simpson and I am trying to locate Capt Alan George Grant Smith.
Details and story as follows:

I served with 8 Coy R.A.A.S.C/R.A.C.T at that time in Hampstead Barracks in South Australia from 1969 until April 1974
when I was discharged with the rank of Sgt and my family and I left to go to South Africa.
Most of the time I served, Capt Alan George Grant Smith was our 2 i/2.  I have tried many times to contact Alan and his wife but have had no luck.
  
I know that if you have his address etc you could not give it to me but I ask that if you have these details
could you please pass on my details to Alan and Susan as I would like to get in touch again.
